Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Lead), PHP / Laravel + Vue

Summary

We're looking for a senior engineer to own the development and support of a complex multi-tenant SaaS product: backend, frontend, integrations, releases and live production. You'll be the main technical owner of the product and the person the team relies on for its quality and stability. We're looking for someone who can run a large modular monolith independently: write the code, fix live issues and make the technical calls. Not only features and not only DevOps, but full ownership of the product. What we offer: a permanent full-time position with official employment with Alivelis LLP in Kazakhstan (probation period applies); fully remote, working from home; candidates must be based in Kazakhstan; business hours only: production support happens within the working day, with no on-call, nights or weekends; salary negotiable (gross, KZT).

What you'll do

• Own the product as lead engineer: architecture, technical priorities, code review and release quality
• Build backend and frontend features, domain logic, external API integrations and background pipelines
• Support production on Azure during business hours: incidents, degradations, hotfixes and root-cause analysis, keeping tenants online
• Run queues and async processing: jobs, retries, worker monitoring
• Maintain local development and CI/CD: Docker, private Composer packages, builds and tests
• Communicate with product and stakeholders on scope, risks and status

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of commercial software development
• PHP 8.x + Laravel (Eloquent, queues/Horizon, events, Composer packages)
• Vue 3 + TypeScript (SPA, Vite, Composition API)
• MySQL, Redis, Docker
• Hands-on experience investigating and fixing production incidents
• Azure: container deployment, storage, configuration and secrets, cloud diagnostics
• English B2+ (work with English-speaking stakeholders)
• Hands-on experience using AI agents in day-to-day development (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot)
• Nice to have: multi-tenancy; JSON:API or resource-driven UI; Helm / Kubernetes; GitHub Actions, APM / observability
